Part of increasing pressure on Iran, the United States has listed the elite force Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) in the list of foreign terrorist organizations of the country. US President Donald Trump has signed a statement in the White House on Monday.
The BBC said in a report that it is the first step in the United States to list the whole army of another nation to the list of terrorist organizations. On the other hand, Iran has immediately condemned the announcement.

Trump further said that this step will help to increase the range and level of pressure on Iran. He warns that if anyone does business with Iran, he means providing funds to terrorist activities.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompey said the move would be effective within the next one week.

IRGC Commander Mohammad Ali Zafarari said in a warning in 2017 that if the Trumpon had such an idea about the Elite Force, "IRGC will consider the US military spread all over the world as Islamic State."
