Homosexuality in the UK is taking new turns every day
Homosexuality in the UK is taking a new turn every day on the issue of approval of a deal signed with the European Union (EU). The controversy over the question of 'back-stop' after the complete consultation of Legal Attorney General Geoffrey Cox, published on Wednesday by the government, was debated.
According to the Attorney General's suggestion, due to 'back-stop', the UK is in danger of being stuck in long-term negotiations with the EU. As a result, Northern Ireland may go under the EU's law indefinitely. The United Kingdom alone can not come out of this system. It will require EU consent.
The government wanted to keep these legal advice secret. But on Tuesday, the Prime Minister was forced to publish the suggestion that the vote was lost in Parliament.
Opponents of the agreement say the Northern Ireland will be under EU law because of the 'back-stop' system. As a result, the remaining three parts of the UK will have a legal distance with England, Scotland and Wales. It's going to break the current structure of the UK.
'Back-stop' is a very complex arrangement of the Ireland border. There is an agreement to keep the border between the Northern Ireland and the independent Ireland part of the UK. Which is known as 'Good Friday Agreement'. This agreement guarantees free flow of people and goods between both parts of Ireland.
Independent Ireland is a member of the EU. And the UK wants to leave the EU. It is normal for the EU citizens to go for free trade and trade and commerce between the general laws and the common law. In this situation, there is a problem with the embankment regarding the possible agreement between the EU member of Independent Ireland and the United Kingdom to open the border between Northern Ireland.
Under the terms of the deal, the separation of the UK will be effective on March 29, 2019, with effect from the UK. However, until December 2020, existing relationships remain as interim arrangements. This 'back-stop' system will be implemented only if there is no confirmation of opening the border with Ireland through determining future relations.
Scotland has been claiming that if Northern Ireland can be under the EU's single market (Customs Union) and the Customs Union after the breaks, then Scotland also wants to maintain the same advantage.
On the other hand, Northern Ireland's Democratic Unionist Party says that Northern Ireland will be isolated from the rest of the UK-they will not accept anything. Other MP's opposing the agreement raised objection to this 'back-stop' system.
However, Prime Minister Theresa is firm on behalf of the May contract. Speaking at a radio conference on Thursday, he said, "It is true that without the EU's consent, the UK will not be able to move alone from the 'back-stop' system. But the UK has the right to decide whether this 'back-stop' system will be ope-rationalized. The EU and the United Kingdom do not want to start a 'back-stop' system.
However, the Prime Minister's statement is not accepted by critics. They say, the reality is that the 'back-stop' system will become active if it fails to negotiate a free trade agreement. Or to stop the 'back-stop' system, the interim system should be continued indefinitely.
