Armando Poeta, 46, of Torrance, California, was arrested after engaging in online sexual communication with a minor and arranging to meet the minor for sexual purposes. The Seal Beach Police Department (SBPD) received information in early September 2021 about an adult male who engaged in sexually explicit online communications with a person believed to be a 14-year-old child. The man also scheduled a meeting with the minor for the same day at a nearby shopping mall.
